About Tad

  • Michelle

What if the solution I offer requires a change in mindset, but my niche thinks it’s about more skill with techniques they have been taught?

  • http://www.facebook.com/seanbalint1 Sean Balint

    Trying to reach everyone

  • http://www.facebook.com/ellie.colver Ellie Colver

That “open to change, ready to do the work.” is what I have as my ‘ideal client’

  • http://www.changents.com/rainforesteco Alana Lea

I have struggled with finding a positive way to offer planting trees in the tropics as a way to halt global warming. “I help renew hope for the future by planting trees to sink carbon emissions.” http://www.iGiveTrees.com

  • Leslie Nipps

I LOVE that–yes, I’m already being defined, scared I’ll define myself WRONG. But it’s happening anyway. Thanks.

    mine are 4, 5, and 10!

  • http://www.facebook.com/henriette.glant Henriette Glant

My niche is still to broad, it’s fuzzy, and I still run into what I think they would need. It’s hard for me to find what their real problem is. I have tried to figure out, with not satisfying success.

  • http://www.facebook.com/rita.massey.5 Rita Massey

I haven’t come up with defining the problem

  • jami

defining demographics, pricing, and difference between felt needs and where I would like to lead them. Background in permaculture and am adding wellness coaching and life coaching.

  • Missy

What? Could you restate the challenge /question?

  • Missy

I care for, love, and respect the children – it’s their parents I struggle with. (But they are the ones paying and joining!)

  • Michelle

What if the yoga for round people woman couldn’t actually teach yoga herself but could refer people and offer lots of inspiration and help to keep them inspired? Would you say she’s got nothin’?

I struggle with Fuzzy niches and Umbrella. I do energy healing work and use sound work and I have trouble articulating why my services would benefit. I have great testimonials but haven’t figured out how to translate them for niche

  • http://www.facebook.com/seanbalint1 Sean Balint

    28

  • Michelle

I got to 27 and missed a few others, so I’m probably around 30-32.

  • http://www.facebook.com/rita.massey.5 Rita Massey

I think 31 points. Not sure if I have more ten pointers I counted just as one.

  • Palindromache

19 points. OMG. But it all went very fast.

  • Kathy Whitham

too much multitasking :) what’s the 30 seconds? are we sharing our score? 6.5

  • Brenda

30.5 better than I thought I would get!

    26 points,

  • Missy

It started too fast for me to start tallying at the beginning. I had at least five statements I had to give myself points on

  • http://www.facebook.com/kay.neal.526 Kay Neal

I’m only a 5 or so–which gives me a lot of hope! My main problem is accessing the people I want to reach (with so little in the way of funds).

  • http://www.facebook.com/ellie.colver Ellie Colver

    What is your number Tad?

  • http://twitter.com/formule4b cool

    score:13

  • Michelle

Missy, I’m in a similar situation…around people and their horses. The horses don’t have the money to pay me…

  • Missy

My number is probably 15. My main fear is that there aren’t enough fof them to sustain me OR that I wont’ be able to figure out where they are. So far I have a bad ratio of difficult to ideal clients, and I have some who I’ve been giving ‘deals’ to who aren’t willing to pay the real rates.

  • Missy

    Is this still going?

  • http://www.facebook.com/nancyhall Nancy Hall

    yoga with chocolate! : )

  • Palindromache

please slow down, I m nog american ;-)

  • Missy

I am an American and a native english speaker, and it’s too fast for me, too.

  • Michelle

    audio gone

  • Brenda

    no sound…

  • Missy

Call keeps dropping in and out for me… anyone else?

  • Michelle

Hey guys, would you please take a second to rate / comment on my niche statement at http://marketingforhippies.com/niche-contest/?

  • http://www.facebook.com/henriette.glant Henriette Glant

Thanks Tad, it was a great call.

  • Nicole

Any chance that you’ll be offering a replay for a very short period of time of the webinar? I’m not able to fit any of the dates and times into my schedule (or at least not for the entire time of the webinar). I was able to listen to about 45 minutes of it yesterday.

  • http://www.facebook.com/pat.gullett1 Pat Gullett

I’m so new to niche concept, knowing I needed a target audience but unable to put it into words until Tad’s webinar. An eye-opener. Thanks so much.
