  • Start with the seven fundamentals: There are so many shiny objects and tactics out there. Many of them work very well. They'll all work better with these seven fundamentals in place (and many of them won't work at all without them). 

  • Start at the bottom and work your way up: These are layered in the order they are for a reason. Each one builds on (and depends on) the previous layer.
