My Uncle Drew introduced me to Ricardo Semler over ten years ago. He was a labour relations executive with Labatt’s and other companies and I remember his amazement and enthusiasm about this man who was turning corporate culture on its head. Instead of hiding the financials from his employees – he would open the books to them – and made sure they knew how to read them.
